COVID-19 Support
Our COVID-19 Response
We at SVPS hope you and your family are well. In accordance with Governor Pritzker’s shelter-in-place order, our clinic continues to operate remotely to promote the health and safety of our communities. We will continue to carefully monitor all local and federal recommendations throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and will offer telehealth services until further notice.

Remote Testing Services
SVPS continues to provide services using endorsed practices that ensure your confidentiality and safety, as well as that of our staff. Until we can safely resume operations in our office suite, our assessment clinicians are available to provide secure video consultation and screening. For the time being, all services are provided via telehealth platforms.
Below are examples of our remote testing services. Click each service for more information.
Autism Spectrum and Special Needs Screening
Does my child need testing for a delay in social, communication, and daily living development? Would my child benefit from preliminary screening? Would my family benefit from assessment and therapeutic support?
Assessment of Emotional and Interpersonal Features
In a time of global crisis, big changes in mood and increased worry are completely warranted and typical for people of all ages. Still, sometimes the changes go beyond what feels manageable or situational. Remote testing can help determine what goes beyond the expected and requires support.
Homeschooling and Homework Help
What academic supports might benefit my child at home? What is my child’s learning style and how can I best support their learning?
Preliminary Screening for Executive Functioning Concerns
Does my child need an evaluation for ADHD?
Once it is recommended, current evaluations will be supplemented by in-person testing as needed.
